Bringing Goals to Life

Bringing Goals to life

“The reason that most people never reach their goals is that they don't define them or ever seriously consider them as believable or achievable,” says Denis Watley, author of the book “The Psychology of Success (Ten Proven Principles for Winning). “Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them,” Watley says.

You can probably name at least five goals that today remain dreams, ideas, or things that you wish you could do but don’t know how to start. The Coaching Sanctuary gives you the keys to turn desires into realities with a set of tools to set, define, and achieve your goals. We ask the questions that you may have been afraid to ask of yourself. Why do you want to achieve it, what prevents you from achieving it, how will you feel when you achieve it, and what will you reward yourself with once you achieve it? We also encourage you to add pictures to your goals to bring them to life and provide you with greater inspiration toward achieving them. When you do this, your goals are reflected on your Vision Board and become your road map to your desired future—your fulfilled life.

Goal setting becomes an important part of your personal growth since many goals are directly related to your overall health, happiness, and well-being. You know you would feel better, be happier, and have more energy if you could quit smoking, or lose 25 pounds. But all past attempts have failed. You were not inspired. You did not have a game plan. You did not think you were that important. As you advance through the other tools in the Coaching Sanctuary, you’ll be inspired to live a life that matters. You will come to believe that you matter.

With the right tools and inspiration at the right time, you can quit smoking, lose the extra weight, and find a job that gives you better work/life balance. Some of your goals will take longer than others to achieve. That’s all right. We have designed the program so you can prioritize your goals into short-, mid-, and long-term categories. Start small, and with each goal you achieve, you’ll be inspired to move on to the next.

We all have goals; the key is in how we turn those goals into reality—one step at a time, with the support of our friends, and with a little help from the Coaching Sanctuary.

Inspiration: “A goal without a plan is just a wish.”

- Antoine de Saint-Exupery, French writer (1900-1944)
