The Five Creative Powers

The Five Creative Powers

Emboldened by the Five Creative Powers of Energy, Mind, Feeling, Speech, and Action, we become skilled at consciously creating our lives. As we work with the exercises and Practices within the Coaching Sanctuary, both our clarity and passion about what we want, and our acceptance and compassion for where we are, increases. Unhealthy patterns and issues not in alignment with our authentic selves decrease. We receive support and inspiration to progress toward our Vision and goals supported by a community of friends. We discover what really matters to us and build the confidence to attain it, so that our Vision moves from the background to the forefront of our lives. Guided and encouraged by Wendy every step of the way, we are provided with simple, practical tools to create an irresistible life.

Simply put, when you learn to dance with these creative powers, there’s almost nothing you can’t achieve in life—all without sacrificing your own authenticity and vitality.

Energy: This is the starting place for everything we create. Like the soundtrack that plays behind what we think, say, feel, and do, it is louder than our words or actions. This mood or unique aura that we project determines who and what we attract and influences what’s possible. The Creative Power of Energy instructs us to become intentional with our Energy, or who we are “being,” so that we positively influence the outcome of our lives.

Mind: Because we can only take actions consistent with who we think we are and what we believe, our thoughts determine the course of our lives. Yet, we allow the endless radio talk show drivel in our minds lead us around impulsively like a dog sniffing at everything in its path. As we learn to let go of thoughts that don’t serve us, we become present to our true nature––pure awareness and peace. As we learn to train our focus on what we want more of, we become a vehicle for joy, love, and creative contribution.

Feelings: Unfortunately, feelings are often viewed as a weakness. But vulnerability can be our greatest strength. When we give ourselves permission to know what we really know, feel what we really feel, and say what we really mean, we feel free and alive. By learning to let feelings in and out in a healthy way, without clinging to, or being gripped or dominated by them, our aliveness soars. When we’re in the flow of the Spiral, subtle clues from the universe guide us, personal issues become less draining, and we laugh more. The Creative Power of Feelings enables us to become a magnet for our greatest good.

Speech: The words we use, just like our energy, thoughts and feelings, are creative forces. Our words shape reality. The Creative Power of Speaking shows us how to use language inventively, so that we communicate in ways that create more freedom and possibility. When we free our voice to ask for what we want, say yes to what calls to us, and no to what doesn’t, we Spiral Up. The more skilled we become in speaking what is both truthful and useful, the more genuine and energized we become.

Actions: Somewhere deep inside we’ve each made a soul promise to live true to our potential. When you take actions as if you are already the woman you aspire to be, you transform. By acting in alignment with the divine spark that is in each of us, our Spiral flows and synchronicity happens: right time, right place, and right partners. We tap into The Creative Power of Actions by finding the sweet spot between inspired initiative and the roles of abstaining and containment.

Inspiration: “The thought manifests as the word; the word manifests as the deed; the deed develops into habit; and habit hardens into character.”
