Measuring your success every step of the way
Self-assessment is an important aspect of your transformation. Looking inward and honestly evaluating how you feel at any given time, whether the feelings are brought about as a result of something you did or didn’t do, is an effective way of measuring your performance and getting closer to attaining your goals.
By embarking on the Journey of transformation, you will learn how to re-shape your moods, thoughts, feelings, words, and actions in order to live a more intentional and fulfilled life. In order to experience true growth, you must practice self-assessment—to look honestly at where you are at any given moment, answer truthfully how you feel about what you have done, and own your own feelings of frustration or satisfaction when they arise.
Too often many of us do the work without experiencing the full benefits. With so many things to do in a given day, we are often moving from task to task without taking the time to look inward at how we feel. We need to learn to do the work, sit back and reflect, and get in tune with our feelings. The Assessment tool in Coaching Sanctuary makes that possible.
The Assessment tool requires you to own your feelings. Are you exhilarated, excited, satisfied, unsatisfied, or frustrated with yourself? You decide—just be honest with yourself, no one is judging you. For each phase of your Journey, in your daily Journal practice, and as part of your scheduled activities, you will assess your emotional barometer, every step of the way.
