This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into the Terms and Conditions of Use .
Please read the Privacy Policy carefully. This explains what Personal Information we will gather from you, and when and how this information is used. Our Terms of Use explains the legal obligations of CS and you, the user, and also outlines what you can and cannot do while accessing the Site and Services.
"Personal Information" is information about a person that is personally identifiable to such person like the person’s name, address, email address, or phone number, as well as other non-public information.
"Anonymous Information" or "Aggregated Information" means information that is not associated with or linked to Personally Identifiable Information. Anonymous or Aggregated Information does not permit the identification of individual persons.
This Website is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. Please check back periodically for changes in our Privacy Policy.
Your Privacy. We understand that your privacy is very important to you. At CS we believe that our online visitors have a right to know our practices regarding the information we may collect when you access or use our Services. Other websites that are linked to/from the CS Site and entities that may be co-branded with CS may have different policies that apply to their collection and management of information; therefore, please review the privacy policy notices on those websites carefully for details.
Acceptance of Privacy Policy. BY ACCESSING OUR SITE AND USING THE SERVICES, AND ANY OF THE UPDATES THEREOF, AND BY PROVIDING INFORMATION THROUGH OUR SITE AND SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, DO NOT ACCESS OUR SITE, USE THE SERVICES, OR PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION THROUGH OUR SITE.
The Information that We Collect. From time to time, we may ask for certain Personal Information from you so that you may participate in activities or enjoy the Services. Generally, we collect information in the following ways: when you submit information, including text, photos or videos, through your Registration, Profile, Forums, your Vision Board, Journal, in exercises and practices; when we receive information through our Services; and when we receive information from entries to CS contests or offers.
We will collect your name, your company’s name if applicable, your email and physical addresses, your phone and fax numbers ("Personal Information"). This information and other information you provide to us, for example information submitted through your Vision Board or exercises, will be collected, used and disclosed as outlined herein. Unless otherwise indicated, information provided will not be associated with your Personal Information and if disclosed or used by CS, such information shall be in anonymous or aggregate form.
Why We Collect this Information. We collect information for a variety of reasons, including administration of our Site, CS's effort to inform you of changes in our service, special offers, newsletters, and other products and services in which you may be interested. When you submit Personal Information to CS, you understand and agree that CS may access, store, and use your customer profile. You consent to the transfer of your information to and within the United States or other countries for processing and storage.
Our Use and Disclosure of Your Information. CS will use your Personal Information only for that specific purpose for which you submitted such Personal Information. We DO NOT sell or rent any Personal Information about you to any third party without your permission. Unless otherwise indicated, Personal Information provided by you to CS is for the internal use of CS only and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We may disclose your Personal Information we collect to companies that perform services on our behalf to fulfill order requirements, payment processing, or administrative requirements. Additionally, when you purchase our products, as a part of the purchase transaction, you will be asked to disclose your information directly to a third party to fulfill your order or to facilitate the processing of your purchase transaction. CS is using Amazon.com to handle all purchase transactions. If you would like to update or change your personal information or credit card information on Amazon.com, please contact them directly through their website contact information at www.amazon.com. Other service providers are RightScale, www.rightscale.com; Vertical Response www.vresponse.com; and Smtp Authority, www.smtpauth.com.
Our Security Procedures and Your Privacy. CS takes great care in maintaining the security of your Personal Information, and preventing unauthorized access to it, through the use of commercially reasonable technology and internal procedures. For example, we use Amazon.com for all purchasing transactions so we do NOT see or store any credit card information. And, all communication between your web browser at home and data storage servers is encrypted with SSL 128 bit encryption—this is the industry standard used by banks and other leading financial institutions. Additionally, all sensitive data such as your journal entries and answers from the Journey are encrypted (AES 128bit) when stored. Server, data center, and database storage are hosted by Amazon.com. Their data centers are protected by military-grade measures, delivering a safer level of security than a small hosting provider delivers. Although CS takes great care in maintaining the security of your Personal Information, CS does not guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.
What You Can Do For Your Security and Privacy: We take your privacy and security very seriously, and provide you with a secure, worry-free sanctuary for all of your personal information. Each section of your sanctuary where you post information is private, except in the Community Board section, when you "ask" or "inspire". While we have taken the measures outlined above, you can assist us by:
(i) Creating longer, stronger passwords. Research shows that most security breaches occur when your password is simple, short, and consists of your name or even just the word “password.” To make your password secure, we highly recommend that you use a longer password with at least 10 digits, consisting of a mix of lower and upper case letters including numbers and signs like $%#&*();
(ii) Locking your screen if you need to leave your computer. We have created a simple click action that allows you to lock your screen if you step away from your computer. To unlock it, just enter your password. If you forget to lock the screen when you step away, it will automatically lock after five minutes of idle time.
(iii) Don't post any personal information on the Community Board that identifies you, others, a business or entity. Don't post anything that you may want to remove at sometime in the future. (If you do need to remove something, you will need to contact us.) For more information, see our Community Guidelines.
Notice of Sharing. CS may share your Personal Information or other information under the following circumstances: (a) within CS, including our employees, and agents; (b) with third parties with your consent; (c) if we believe in good faith that it is required by law, legal process or court order; (d) as may be required to respond to an inquiry, request or complaint that you have made; (e) to persons or companies that CS engages to carry out or provide support for the operations of its business (which may include customer support services or email service providers); or (f) if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect the personal safety, property, or interests of you, our users, the public, our licensors, Coaches, the Services or ourselves. CS may share aggregate information and/or Anonymous Information about our users and visitors with advertisers, business partners, sponsors, and other third parties

During those times when we participate in promotions and contests in conjunction with other companies, with the intent to share Personal Information, we will indicate this in our contest rules, on the registration page. Please refer to our promotion/contest rules for updates.

CAN-SPAM Compliance. Email contact, for example, may include information regarding your rewards, and chapter summary information. Also, where applicable, by accepting a trial membership, you also consent to receive several follow-up emails. If you have indicated that you would like to be contacted regarding other services and promotions, CS may also contact you with commercial information about products, services, promotions, contests, or other activities or offerings that may be of interest to you. Additionally, with each commercial communication you receive from CS, you will be given the opportunity to indicate that you wish to "Unsubscribe" from receiving such future communications. By requesting that CS send an email to a Friend, through the "Inspire" button, you understand that you are required to send an authentic email address that is being used solely for the purpose of providing information about CS to your known friend, who would not object to receiving this email.

Whenever you communicate with customer service, you understand: (i) that a customer service representative may view and make changes to your Personal Information in order to provide the assistance that you need; and (ii) that a customer service representative may reply to you via email, phone, or text message.
Legal Disclosures.
